In 1999 the St Paul’s BeerBarian’s were formed as part of an old boys side at Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher education, which is now the University of Gloucestershire, in 2001 the team was renamed on our travels through Canada The BeerandRugby.com™ BeerBarian’s RFC, with a registered website to upload our tour photos on and also a guestbook for players and fans of the sport to message the team on.
After the guestbook became a page for rugby clubs to promote their rugby tournaments on, we launched (the) BeerandRugby.com™ Ultimate Tour & Stash Information Website at the end of 2001. Over almost 10 years it has evolved into a website which is free for rugby clubs around the world to promote their clubs, tournaments and country locations on free of charge, so the they can drive awareness and raise fund for their club. The site is packed full of tour advice from tournaments to tour organisers and support the tradition of grass roots rugby.
We still run our team which can be found at www.beerbarainsrfc.com and also now have an online shop [LINK] selling our clothing range, due to the request of website fans.
